Clinical Study on Qingdan Decoction in the Treatment of Moderately Severe Acute Pancreatitis
Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of the self-proposed Qingdan Decoction in the treat-ment of moderately severe acute pancreatitis. Methods:Using the random number table method,100 patients were divided into a control group and a treatment group,50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine treatment protocols, and the treatment group was treated with Qingdan Decoc-tion combined with conventional western medicine for(10±2)d.The two groups were compared in terms of total clinical efficiency,TCM syndrome score, blood calcium, serum amylase(S-Amy),Modified CT Severity Index(MCT-SI),Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation Ⅱ(APACHE Ⅱ),Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SO-FA),inflammation indexes, adverse effects and prognosis. Results:The total effective rate of treatment group(94.87%)was significantly higher than that of control group(76.74%)(P<0.05).The total effective rate of TCM evidence points in the treatment group(100.00%)was significantly higher than that of control group(86.05%)(P<0.05).After treatment, the reductions of TCM evidence points,MCTSI score,APACHE Ⅱ score and SOFA score in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the symptom scores of abdominal distension, abdominal pain, epigastric plumpness, nausea and vomiting, loss of ap-petite,constipation,fatigue and thirst in the TCM symptom scores of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the reduction of white blood cell(WBC)count, tumor ne-crosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP)and procalcitonin(PCT)in the treatment group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Comparison of blood calcium improve-ment,S-Amy lowering level, complications, puncture drainage and progression to SAP after treatment between the two groups did not show significant differences(P>0.05).No adverse reactions occurred in both groups.Conclu-sion:The efficacy of Qingdan Decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of moderately severe acute pancreatitis is precise.
