Exploration of the Treatment of Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia from the Perspective of Spleen and Stomach Qi Transformation
Primary immune thrombocytopenia(ITP)is a common bleeding disorder and an autoimmune hemato-logical disease.This paper discusses the treatment of ITP from the perspective of spleen and stomach qi transfor-mation.The disease primarily affects the spleen,and it is proposed that"disruption of spleen and stomach qi trans-formation is the root cause of ITP,"and"yin fire damaging the network vessels is the manifestation of ITP."Based on this understanding,the main treatment principles are"strengthening the spleen and harmonizing the stomach to assist qi transformation"and"using sweet-cold herbs to clear yin fire."Clinically,the combination of Danggui Liuhuang Decoction and Qiangen Powder is recommended for the treatment of ITP,providing a new diag-nostic and therapeutic approach for the use of traditional Chinese medicine in managing ITP.
