Clinical Study on the Combined Treatment of Qingli Changdao Decoction and Mesalazine for Acute Exacerbation of Ulcerative Colitis
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of intestinal Qingli Changdao Decoction combined with methalazine in the treatment of active ulcerative colitis and to preliminarily explore its mechanism.Methods:A total of 90 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(45 cases)and control group(45 cases).On the basis of basic treatment,the control group received mesalazine orally;the treatment group was treated with Qin-gli Changdao Decoction combined with mesalazine orally.After 4 weeks of treatment,the clinical efficacy,serum levels of IL-6,IL-8,IL-10,IL-17,Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire(IBDQ)and Mayo scores were ob-served in both groups.Results:After treatment,the levels of serum IL-6,IL-8,IL-17 and Mayo score decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05),the levels of IL-10 and IBDQ score increased compared with before treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Qingli Changdao Decoction combined with methalazine has satisfactory clinical effect in the treatment of active ulcerative colitis,and its ability to reduce inflammatory factors may be one of its mechanisms of action.
