Clinical Efficacy Observation of Sangchai Decoction on Post-infectious Cough with Syndrome of Wind-dryness Invading Lung
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Sangchai Decoction in the treatment of post-infectious cough with syndrome of wind-dryness invading lung. Methods:A total of 80 patients with post-infec-tion cough admitted were selected for observation. The patients were divided into the treatment group and control group by randomized control method.Among them, the treatment group initially had 40 cases, but 4 cases dropped out, leaving a total of 36 cases that actually completed the study;the control group also started with 40 cases, but 2 cases dropped out, resulting in 38 cases that actually completed the study. The treatment group received Sang-chai Decoction and the control group received compound methoxyamine capsule. The clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups were then observed. Results:After treatment, the effective rate of the treatment group was signifi-cantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the score of cough symptom and TCM syndrome was al-so significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).At the same time,no definite adverse events oc-curred in the treatment group. Conclusion:Sangchai Decoction has clear curative effect on post-infectious cough with syndrome of wind-dryness invading lung, and there is no obvious adverse reaction.
