Preliminary Exploration of Treating Internal Visual Obstruction Diseases from the Perspective of Lung
Internal visual obstruction diseases often manifest no external symptoms and are mainly comprised of posterior segment diseases in modern ophthalmology, with highly complex etiology and pathogenesis. The theory that eye diseases are closely related to lung is an important concept in explaining the etiology and pathogenesis of internal visual obstruction diseases.Lung,as the"prime minister"of the body, govern Qi of the entire body and play a crucial role in the physiological functions and pathogenesis of the eyes.Lung regulate and coordinate Qi,blood, body fluids within the eyes, particularly through the dissemination and descent of lung Qi,which is evident in the regulation of retinal blood oxygenation. The vitreous body belongs to hand Taiyin lung meridian, which initiates the activity of Yin Qi transformation.Similarly, the vitreous body functions in the same manner within the eyes.Modern research also indicates that vitreous particles play a regulatory and messenger role in internal visual obstruction diseases. This paper analyzes the basis of treating internal visual obstruction diseases from the perspective of lung, focusing on theoretical and modern research, and discusses it from the perspectives of meridians and organ theory.
