视网膜色素变性(RP)是一种遗传性致盲眼病,严重影响了患者的生活质量.近年来,随着对RP发病机制的研究不断深入,中、西医治疗RP也取得了一定的进展.本文对治疗RP的中、西医研究进展进行综述,发现西医治疗RP的方法主要包括药物治疗、干细胞移植、基因治疗、光遗传学治疗、视网膜假体以及并发症的治疗等,这些治疗方法主要针对目前可能的发病机制进行基因修正、替代治疗、抗氧化损伤及营养支持;中医方面主要通过辨证论治进行中药、针灸等治疗,以延缓RP的进展,均取得了一定疗效.本研究可为临床RP的诊治思路提供参考.
Advances in the Treatment of Retinitis Pigmentosa with Integrated Traditional Chi-nese Medicine and Western Medicine
Retinitis pigmentosa(RP)is a hereditary blinding eye disease that severely im-pacts patients'quality of life.In recent years,with the deepening understanding of the pathogen-esis of RP,both Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)and Western Medicine(WM)treatments have made significant progress.This paper reviews the research advances in the treatment of RP with integrated TCM and WM.It was found that WM treatments for RP primarily include pharma-cotherapy,stem cell transplantation,gene therapy,optogenetics,retinal prostheses,and the treat-ment of complications.These treatments mainly target possible mechanisms of pathogenesis through gene correction,replacement therapy,antioxidative damage,and nutritional support.TCM,on the other hand,primarily employs syndrome differentiation and treatment through Chinese medicines and acupuncture to delay the progression of RP,achieving notable efficacy.This study provides valuable references for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of RP.
