In view of the increasing prevalence of chronic and disabling diseases,it is particularly important to carry out effective re-habilitation exercise,which encourages all colleges and universities to reform the original teaching methods,aiming at conveying reha-bilitation talents with strong technical ability and high professional quality to the clinic.This article reviews the problems existing in the teaching of undergraduate students majoring in rehabilitation therapy from three aspects:basic knowledge,professional skills and professional quality,and then offers suggestions and practical solutions based on the authors own experience,hoping to gradually es-tablish a rehabilitation therapy major education system with characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine.
