The Teaching Mode of the Cultivation of Clinical Operation Ability as the Core in the Science of Orthopedic of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Objective To evaluate the teaching effect of the teaching mode of cultivation of clinical operation ability as the core in the classroom teaching of science of orthopedic of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods Two classes of 2017 TCM major in Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were divided into experimental group and control group.The experimental group(30 cases)adopted the teaching mode of the cultivation of clinical operation ability as the core.For the operation knowledge points such as physi-cal examination,bone-setting technique,splint fixation,etc.,the teacher demonstrated the operation,and the students played the role and performed the operation demonstration in groups.The students were graded by the judges and commented by the teachers.The control group(31 cases)adopted the traditional teaching method.The scores of the two groups in the final examination of orthopedics of traditional Chinese medicine was observed and compared,and a questionnaire survey for the experimental group was conducted.Results The scores of the experimental group were significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).The results of the ques-tionnaire survey of the experimental group show that the teaching mode with the training of clinical operation ability as the core is help-ful to improve the students'clinical operation ability,which has a certain innovation.Conclusion The teaching mode of clinical opera-tion ability as the core is better than traditional teaching,and it is worth promoting and applying in the teaching of science of orthope-dic of traditional Chinese medicine.
