Traditional Chinese medicine has obvious advantages in the treatment of osteoporosis(OP).OP can be attributed to the cat-egories of"atrophic debility of bones","bone depletion"and"bone exhaustion"in traditional Chinese medicine.The relevant theories and practices in Rumen Shiqin·Referring to Migratory Arthralgia and Flaccid Paralysis Syncope Syndrome in Modern Times of Zhang Zihe are quite distinctive and effective.Zhang Zihe discussed OP in detail from five aspects,such as etiology,pathogenesis,clinical symptoms,treatment methods,acupuncture treatment and prognosis,the results of modern research on the content and mechanism of the disease are consistent with them.Therefore,these discussions have certain guiding value for the modern understanding and treat-ment of OP,and provide important guidance and reference for the future clinical treatment of this disease.
