Objective To investigate the effect of Yishen Qianggu Huayu decoction combined with percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP)on patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture(OVCF).Methods A total of 60 OVCF patients who visited Wuyuan County People's Hospital from August 2020 to February 2022 were divided into two groups by random number table,with 30 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with PVP,the control group was treated with alfacalcitol capsule and calcium carbonate after op-eration,and the observation group was treated with self-designed Yishen Qianggu Huayu decoction,both of which were continuously treated for 6 weeks.The clinical efficacy,pain degree,thoracolumbar back function,anterior edge height of vertebral body,bone den-sity,bone metabolism index and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the obser-vation group was 96.67％(29/30),which was higher than that of the control group(73.33％,22/30)(P＜0.05).After treatment,vertebral anterior margin height and bone mineral density in observation group were higher than those in control group,visual analogue scale(VAS)scores,Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)scores,bone alkaline phosphatase(BALP)and osteocalcin(BGP)levels in observation group were lower than those in control group(P＜0.05).No obvious adverse reactions were observed in both groups.Conclusion Yishen Qianggu Huayu decoction combined with PVP in the treatment of OVCF has definite effective,is beneficial to improve bone mineral density and bone metabolism,alleviate the pain of patients,accelerate the recovery process of thoracolumbar function,and is safe and worthy of promotion.
