In order to meet the social demand for applied health management professionals in the field of medical and health,com-bined with the characteristics of health management curriculum, the paper explored the integration of outcome-based education(OBE)concept and project-based learning(PBL)teaching mode in the teaching reform, and improved the training level of applied talents.Based on the social needs of health management, the reverse curriculum goal design model of"social needs-vocational competence-curriculum structure"was constructed.PBL teaching model was project-oriented and student-centered through three parts as follows:pre-class introduction,in-class discussion and after-class expansion.Using the goal rating scale to evaluate the students'self-defined goals,73.0%(27/37)of the students thought that the target group learning has reached the established learning goals, and 16.2%(6/37)thought that the learning goals have been basically achieved. The integrated teaching mode of OBE and PBL can stimu-late the students'consciousness of independent learning, and the students can achieve higher learning goals and improve their practi-cal ability. It has accomplished the established teaching objectives and achieved better teaching results.
