Parkinson's disease is a common clinical degenerative disease of the central nervous system,which affects the quality of daily life and even threatens the safety of life.In recent years,traditional Chinese medicine treatment has obvious advantages in im-proving clinical symptoms and reducing hospitalization rate.How to flexibly combine traditional Chinese medicine and western medi-cine to complement each other and apply them to various clinical diseases is a hot topic in current domestic research.In this paper,rel-evant literatures in the past five years were retrieved to summarize the research status of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of Parkinson's disease from three aspects as follows:internal treatment of traditional Chinese medicine,external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine treatment,in order to provide reference for the treatment of Parkinson's disease by integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the future.
