The Application of CBL Combined with OSCE Teaching Method in Clinical Teaching of Cardiovascular Medicine in Traditional Chinese Medicine
Objective To evaluate the value of case-based teaching method(CBL)combined with objective structured clinical exami-nation(OSCE)teaching method in clinical teaching of cardiovascular medicine in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods A total of 76 interns majoring in traditional Chinese medicine who were interned in department of cardiovascular medicine of traditional Chinese medicine from March 2022 to January 2023 were selected and divided into a control group and a experimental group,with 38 students in each group.The former group applies the conventional teaching mode,while the latter group uses the CBL combined with OSCE teaching method.Assessment results and teaching satisfaction of the two groups were evaluated.Results Compared with the test re-sults,the scores of medical history,physical examination,data interpretation,medical record writing and clinical skills in test groups were higher than those in the reference group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The total teaching satisfaction of the experimental group was 94.74%(36/38),which was higher than that of the control group(76.32%,29/38),and the difference was statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of CBL combined with OSCE teaching method can promote the quality of clinical teaching in cardiovascular medicine of traditional Chinese medicine,and can improve students'comprehensive abilities and academic achieve-ments.
