Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas(SPN)in children is a low-grade malig-nant epithelial exocrine tumor of the pancreas with no typical clinical manifestations or specific tumor mark-ers.Preoperative diagnosis mainly depends on imaging examination.Surgery is the main treatment.At pres-ent,there are still many controversies about the diagnostic criteria,classification,surgical indication,selec-tion of surgical methods,and postoperative follow-up of pediatric SPN in various medical centers in China.This consensus is formulated based on evidence-based medicine,several discussions among members of the expert group,and the results of the Delphi method questionnaire,to standardize the diagnosis and treatment process of pediatric SPN in China and improve the overall diagnosis and treatment level.
