Pancreaticoduodenectomy is one of the most complex surgeries,which remains the stand-ard procedure for cancers located at the pancreatic head and periampullary area.Despite with a low inci-dence,post-pancreaticoduodenectomy hemorrhage is still a major concern or even life-threatening postopera-tive complication.This article aims to revisit the etiology,risk factors,diagnosis,prevention and treatment of post-pancreaticoduodenectomy hemorrhage.
