Design and application of information management system for personnel of overseas mission medical team
Objective To design and develop a system for selecting,evaluating,training,and managing medical team members,for realizing refined and scientific management of the personnel in the overseas mission medical team(OMMT)and enhancing the medical capabilities of the OMMT.Methods Based on the"post competency model and indicator system for medical team members"[1]constructed by the research group,the system was developed with a front-end and back-end separation mode and the hierarchy design with a browser/server architecture,according to the modular theory.The system consists of two sub-systems:the administrator sub-system has five functional modules,namely,team member information,team member information management,team management,training management,and authorization management;the member sub-system has three functional modules,namely,personal information management,post competency assessment,and training.Results The system can integrate various functions such as personnel selection,competency evaluation,training management,and personnel management for diversified medical support missions,shorten the time of team formation,and ensure team quality.It can also achieve intelligent personnel management,efficient competency assessment,automation of core training,editable competency framework,and standardization of data for statistical analysis.Conclusion The system can realize refined and scientific management of medical team members,and provide an informationized decision-making assistance for managers.
