Construction of a two-tiered scenario model knowledge base of international disaster medical rescue based on ontology technology
Objective To build a knowledge base consists of events and mission area scenarios,to help the international disaster medical rescue team conveniently query the elements of time-space and local health and medical basic information when making plans,to make the plan closer to the local reality. Methods Ontology technology was applied to structurally express the case,i.e.,describing the hierarchical structure of the concepts and terminologies of the field involved,to establish the connections between concepts and terminologies, and to classify the cases according to scenario and hierarchical level, and to structure the knowledge and construct the knowledge base according to the professional and multidisciplinary characteristics of disaster medical rescue, realizing a mass of semantic structured expression of disciplinary knowledge. Results The ontology knowledge base of disaster medical rescue was constructed, which was used to structurally express two international medical rescue cases in local military conflict areas, and further carried out query and approximate comparison. The results of structured expression were compared with the reports issued by the WHO indicated that Yemen would suffer from a more serious humanitarian crisis and there was a greater need for international humanitarian assistance, while in Syria, there was a need to restore the local health facilities, mainly on the basis of supplementary vaccination. Conclusion The knowledge base constructed in this study is feasible and scientific for structuring international disaster cases.
