Research progress of emotional contagion in animal models under stress condition
In modern society, people are exposed to increasingly complex and intense stress.Moderate stress can enhance psychological resilience and is beneficial to health, while excessive stress can lead to adverse outcomes and become the cause or triggering factor for the occurrence and development of various diseases.Among them, emotional disorders are one of the major psychological problems affected by stress. At present, many studies have found that stress-induced emotional states, and even the stress state itself, can be contagious among group members, which further complicates the prevention and treatment of emotional disorders. As stress is inevitable in daily life, exploring the mechanisms of emotional contagion under the background of stress may provide a new direction for the prevention and treatment of emotional disorders.Due to the complexity of human social life, the main objects of research on emotional contagion are mainly animal models.Although there have been some studies on this special contagion phenomenon, the key contagious pathways and physiological mechanisms remain unclear, and the experimental influencing factors are often mixed. This article provides a review of the researches on the mechanisms of stress-induced emotional contagion, providing novel insights for the research on emotional contagion and the prevention and treatment of emotional disorders.
