A study on the impact of social support on quality of life of women of childbearing age in ethnic areas of Sichuan Province
Objective To understand the current situation of the quality of life of women of childbearing age in ethnic areas of Sichuan Province,and to explore the impact of social support levels on it.Methods A total of 393 women of childbearing age were selected from three counties in Aba Prefecture,Sichuan Province,namely Ruoergai County,Mao County and Zamthang County,by convenient sampling method from January 2023 to May 2023.The general questionnaire,the MOS item Short From health survey(SF-36)and the Social Support Rate Scale(SSRS)were used to investigate.Results The total score of quality of life for women of childbearing age in ethnic regions was(102.94±9.85);The total score of social support was(34.39±5.78).Hierarchical Multiple Regression showed that social support was the factor affecting the quality of life of women of childbearing age in ethnic minority areas of Sichuan Province,accounting for 43.5％of the total variation.Conclusion The quality of life and social support of women of childbearing age in ethnic minority areas of Sichuan Province are at a moderate level,and the level of social support positively affects their quality of life.In addition,improving the social support level of women of childbearing age in ethnic minority areas can improve their quality of life.
