Objective To understand the current situation of job engagement of nurses who participated in nutrition support specialist nurse training,and to explore the impact of role conflict and role ambiguity on job involvement,so as to provide reference for the management of nurses in hospitals.Methods General data questionnaire,Nurse's Role Conflict and Ambiguity Scale,and Specialty Nurse Work Engagement Scale were used to investigate 440 nurses who participated in nutrition support specialist nurse training in Henan province.Results The scores of role conflict dimension,role ambiguity and job engagement were(33.05±7.24),(21.69±5.57)and(108.22±36.82),respectively.The results of correlation analysis showed that role conflict,role ambiguity and job engagement were negatively correlated(r=-0.556,r=-0.376,P＜0.001).The results of hierarchical regression analysis showed that role ambiguity and role conflict had a negative effect on the job involvement level of nurses who participated in nutrition support specialist nurse training,which could explain 20.6％of the total variation.Conclusion The job engagement of nurses who participated in nutrition support specialist nurse training is at a moderate level,and managers should further clarify the clinical roles and division of labor of nutrition support specialist nurses,eliminate their role conflicts and ambiguity,and promote the development of nutrition support specialist nurses in China.
