Causes and counter measures of negative emotion and behavior associated with local COVID-19 epidemic in cancer patients
The prevalence of negative emotions in tumor patients is significantly higher than that in non-tumor patients and normal population. Anxiety, fear, depression, and other negative emotions can affect the cancer patients' life quality, and some patients will also show bad behaviors, which seriously endanger their physical and mental health. Fears with corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic and the inconvenience caused by the epidemic aggravate the negative emotion of tumor patients. This article analyzes the causes and manifestations and proposes countermeasures of the negative emotions, in order to change the bad behaviors of cancer patients, improve their quality of life, and help them complete regular anti-tumor treatment.
