目的:探讨DEAD-box家族的DDX5(RNA解旋酶)在甲状腺癌组织中的表达,并分析其临床病理意义。方法:收集临汾市医联体范围内2014年10月~2021年9月手术治疗切除的甲状腺癌组织标本100例,甲状腺良性病变组织标本100例,并收集患者临床病理学资料;采用免疫组化法与Western blot法检测甲状腺癌及良性病变组织中DDX5的表达情况,并对检测结果进行统计学分析。结果:甲状腺癌组织中DDX5/β-actin蛋白表达情况显著高于良性组织(30.44±3.71 vs 13.22±2.83,P<0.01);DDX5阳性表达与淋巴结转移、甲状腺癌临床分期显著相关(P<0.05),与甲状腺癌患者的年龄、性别、病理类型无相关性(P>0.05)。结论:DDX5过表达参与了甲状腺癌的发生与发展。
Clinical significance of expression of DDX5 in thyroid cancer
Objective:To investigate the expression of DEAD-box RNA helicase 5 (DDX5) in thyroid cancer and to analyze its clinical significance.Methods:Specimens of thyroid cancer (n=100) and benign thyroid lesions (n=100) surgically removed at the hospitals belonging to Linfen Medical Association from October 2014 to September 2021 were selected, and the clinicopathological data of these patients were collected. Western blot and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the expression of DDX5 in thyroid cancer and benign lesions, and the results were statistically analyzed.Results:The expression of DDX5 protein in thyroid carcinoma was significantly higher than that in benign tissues (30.44±3.71 vs 13.22±2.83, P<0.01). The positive expression of DDX5 was significantly correlated with lymph node metastasis and TNM stage of thyroid cancer (P<0.05), but not with age, gender, or pathological type (P>0.05).Conclusion:Overexpression of DDX5 might be involved in the occurrence and development of thyroid cancer.
