Training model for cardiopulmonary resuscitation under the background of regular control of COVID-19
The incidence of sudden cardiac arrest is increasing every year and it has become a global problem. Timely treatment after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is a difficult problem. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) has been recognized as the most effective way to provide on-the-spot resuscitation for patients in cardiac arrest all over the world. Immediate on-the-spot resuscitation by the first witness can significantly increase the success rate of resuscitation. Thus, it is necessary to popularize CPR among the general population. However, the prevalence of CPR in the Chinese population has been low. The corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic has had a serious impact on face-to-face training. Under the background that the control of COVID-19 has become normalized, it has become a new research hot spot to improve the CPR training model and further increase the penetration rate. This paper reviews CPR training models and introduces recent new advances in the field of CPR training, aiming to provide reference for the establishment of a new training system under the bacground of regular control of COVID-19.
