Despite presenting with minor clinical signs, microcerebral hemorrhage is poorly seen on CT. It is frequently diagnosed based on clinical experience because it presents with symptoms extremely similar to lacunar cerebral infarction, and many instances are therefore ignored or misdiagnosed. To improve clinicians' understanding of microcerebral hemorrhage, authors retrospectively analysed the medical records of a patient with simple sensory disturbance acomplicated by a subconjunctival haemorrhage that was misdiagnosed as a cerebral infarction.
