Research on Early Childcare Teacher Training in China:Hot Spots,Trends and Prospects——A Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis of the Literature Based on the Years 2013-2023
Early childcare teacher training is an important link in the overall chain of teacher education and should have a place in the field of teacher education research.The review is an important research knowledge base,and timely summarization of past results can help provide reference for subsequent research,national decision-making and early childcare teacher training practice.Using bibliometric and qualitative analysis methods,the study analyzed 286 pieces of literature related to the cultivation of teachers of infants and toddlers ages 0-3 in China from 2013 to 2023 in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),and found that the research on the cultivation of early childcare teachers has witnessed an explosion in number with 2019 as the key time point,and the hotspots of research centered on the policy of childcare teacher cultivation,teachers'qualifications,pre-service training,professional entry standards,and post-service training.In the future,the hotspots will be more focused on topics such as the construction of high-quality,professionalized and standardized training system.Future research needs to expand interdisciplinary and international perspectives,combine macro policies and the background of the construction of the childcare service system,and combine multiple paradigms in order to continuously improve the quality of research.
