Family informal care is the main body of the rural old-age security system now.Focusing on the family care of the rural elderly and based on a field research on the disabled and semi-disabled elderly and their family caregivers in four rural areas in Rizhao City,Weifang City and Zaozhuang City in Shandong Province,this article analyzes the current informal care supply and demand,and social support of family care for the disabled elderly in rural areas.Meantime,the study makes an in-depth analysis of the related problems,and provides suggestions for building a social support policy system for family elderly care,stressing that it is essential to build the formation of linkage through multiple participation to ensure the effective implementation and sustainable development of family care support policies,so as to alleviate the care pressure of family caregivers,and provide better care services for the disabled elderly.
