Analysis on Disease Spectrum of Discharged Patients in the Hepatopathy Department of a Tertiary Hospital with Infectious Diseases in the Past Ten Years
Objectives This paper analyzed the disease composition of the patients discharged from the department of Hepatology in a Three A and Tertiary Infectious Disease Hospital for ten years,and provide reference for the allocation of medical resources in the hospital.Methods The front page information of 39 304 patients discharged from the department of Hepatology from January 1st,2013 to December 31st,2022 was extracted from the statistical medical record system of an infectious disease hospital.The data were sorted and analyzed by Excel software based on the main diagnosis of discharge.Results The total number of discharged patients in the department of Hepatopathy in the past ten years was 39 304,including 29 042 males and 10 262 females,the ratio of males to females was 2.8:1.There were 2996 cases in 2013,3532 cases in 2022,and the growth rate of fixed basis ratio of hospitalization in 2022 was 0.18.The top 10 diseases were chronic viral hepatitis B,cirrhosis,other medical care,primary liver cancer,acute and subacute liver failure,liver fibrosis,toxic liver disease with hepatitis,chronic viral hepatitis C,alcoholic cirrhosis,and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.Conclusion Chronic viral hepatitis B was still the main disease,the proportion of liver cirrhosis,primary liver cancer,non-alcoholic fatty liver and non-infectious liver diseases was increasing,and the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases should be strengthened.The increase in the number of discharged patients in the department of liver disease indicated that the medical demand was still quite large,and the prevention and treatment of liver disease was still a long way to go.
