Analysis of Disease Spectrum and Pareto Diagram of Malignant Tumor Patients in a Three A and Tertiary Hospital in Taizhou from 2018 to 2021
Objectives To analyze the disease composition characteristics and changing trends of patients with malignant tumors first diagnosed in a Three A and Tertiary Hospital in Taizhou,and provide reference for the prevention and treatment of malignant tumors,and provide basis for specialty construction.Methods Data of 15 963 inpatients with first diagnosis of malignant tumor admitted to a Three A and Tertiary Hospital in Taizhou from January 1st,2018 to December 31st,2021 were selected to analyze the disease composition and rank changes of malignant tumor among different years,ages,genders and places of residence.Results The top 10 malignant tumors were bronchial and lung malignant tumors,gastric malignant tumors,esophageal malignant tumors,thyroid malignant tumors,breast malignant tumors,colon malignant tumors,liver malignant tumors,rectal malignant tumors,cervical malignant tumors,and prostate malignant tumors,accounting for 74.84%of the total number of malignant tumors in the past four years.There were significantly more male patients than females,of which the first male malignant tumors were bronchial and lung malignant tumors,accounting for 20.5%of male malignant tumors;the first female malignant tumors were breast malignant tumors,accounting for 15.8%of female malignant tumors.The age of tumor onset was relatively concentrated in the middle-aged and elderly population over 50 years old.Among the three cities and districts under the jurisdiction of Taizhou,Hailing District has the largest number of patients.Conclusions There were more male than female patients with malignant tumor diagnosed for the first time in a Three A and Tertiary Hospital in Taizhou.Bronchial and pulmonary malignancies,gastric malignancies and esophageal malignancies were the main types of cancer.The patients with liver malignant tumor showed a decreasing trend,while the patients with thyroid malignant tumor showed an increasing trend.Grasp the distribution characteristics of tumors,adjust the prevention and control measures according to the age,gender and regional differences of the incidence of tumors,and did a good job in the tertiary prevention of malignant tumors according to local conditions.
