Analysis of the Disease Spectrum of Patients Discharged from Gynaecology Departments in a Three A and Tertiary Hospital in Ningxia from 2018 to 2022
Objective To analyze the disease spectrum composition of the discharged gynecological patients in a Three A and Tertiary Hospital in Ningxia,and provide reference for the prevention and treatment of gynecological diseases and the rational allocation of medical resources in this area.Methods A retrospective analysis method was used to collect the age,main diagnosis and main diagnosis code data of 17 603 discharged gynecological patients from a top-three hospital in Ningxia from January 1st,2018 to December 31st,2022.Excel2021 and SPSS21.0 software were used to organize and analyze the data.Pareto diagram was used to classify and analyze the composition of systemic diseases in discharged gynecological patients,find out the main factors in the spectrum of diseases,and pay special attention to them.Results The number of patients discharged from the hospital increased during the five-year period;the top 10 diseases of patients discharged from the hospital were,in order of distribution,2277 cases of uterine smooth muscle tumor,2157 cases of chemotherapy for malignant tumor,1973 cases of miscarriage,1138 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia,943 cases of polyp in the female genital tract,814 cases of cervical malignant neoplasms,813 cases of benign tumors of ovary,790 cases of malignant tumors of ovary,761 cases of malignant tumors of endometrium,and 761 cases of endometrial malignant tumor of ovary 761 cases,uterine adenopathy 759 cases;Discharged patients in the group under 20 years old were mainly discharged with benign tumor of ovary,there were 99 cases,the group of 20-29 years old and the group of 30-39 years old were mainly discharged with miscarriage,there were 874 cases and 940 cases,the group of 40-49 years old were mainly discharged with uterine smooth fibroid,there were 1,244 cases,and the groups of 50-59 years old and more than 60 years old were mainly discharged with chemotherapy for malignant tumors,the group of 50-59 years old and more than 60 years old.The Pareto chart showed that the discharged gynecological patients of the hospital were mainly discharged with 12 diseases such as uterine smooth muscle tumor(78.31%),4 diseases such as endometrial hyperplasia and 10 diseases such as cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(96.83%).Conclusions In the past five years,the disease spectrum of discharged gynecological patients in this hospital had not changed much.The major factors of category A(major diseases)and the top ten diseases in the disease sequence in the Pareto chart were all common gynecological diseases.It was necessary to strengthen the treatment of these diseases,and increase the publicity of female disease and health knowledge,early screening,early prevention and early treatment,so as to continuously improve the quality of medical services and promote the high-quality development of the hospital.
