Application of Real-time Endoscopic Surgery Video combined with CBL Teaching Mode in the Standardized Training of Residents
Objectives To explore the application effect of real-time endoscopic surgery video combined with CBL teaching mode in resident training teaching, and provide reference for improving teaching quality. Methods Fifty physicians who participated in residency training in the department of urology in a certain hospital from October 1st,2021 to May 31st,2023 were selected as the study objects, and were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 25 in each group. The control group was taught by CBL teaching method, while the observation group was taught by the same teacher. The teaching effect was evaluated by basic theory, practice assessment and teaching satisfaction survey. Results There was no significant difference between the two groups in general information and basic theory assessment before training(P>0.05).After training, the basic knowledge scores of the observation group and the control group were(21.00±3.11)and(20.84±2.56)points,respectively,with no statistical significance(P>0.05).The observation group was significantly better than the control group in preoperative preparation, surgical procedures, complications and management. The scores of the observation group were(21.56±2.43),(22.16±1.70),(20.64±2.66)and(85.36±5.74)in these three parts and the overall scores, respectively.Control group respectively(18.60 +/-2.41),(19.00-2.31),(17.60-2.96)and(76.04-5.54),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition, the observation group was significantly better than the control group in terms of doctors'practice performance and satisfaction with teaching methods(P<0.05).Conclusions Real-time endoscopic surgery video combined with CBL teaching mode was helpful to improve teaching efficiency, deepen students'understanding of endoscopic surgery, improve operational skills and clinical practice level, and was worthy of widespread promotion.
