Exploration of the Application of Multi-Level,Multi-Unit,and Multi-Round Knee Arthroscopy Simulation Training
Objectives This study aims to explore the teaching effect of multi-level,multi-unit,and multi-round knee arthroscopy simulation teaching methods, and provide a reference for the clinical teaching of orthopedic knee arthroscopy. Methods A total of 29 residents who received knee arthroscopy simulation surgery training in a certain hospital from February 1,2023 to August 31,2023 were selected as the experimental group. The multi-level multi-unit and multi-round knee arthroscopy simulation teaching method was applied.A total of 25 resident physicians who participated in knee arthroscopy training in the same period of the previous year were selected as the control group, and the traditional clinical knee arthroscopy training method was adopted. An operation simulation system was used to evaluate the two groups, and the completion time and teaching satisfaction of the two groups of students were compared. Results The completion times of simulated operations for basic meniscus diseases in the experimental group were 18.2±4.1 for radial tear,17.6±4.0 for longitudinal tear,17.6±2.7 for valvular tear, and 19.0±3.0 for partial disc tear, which were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant. The experimental group's learning interest score(8.72±0.84),independent operation ability score(8.28±0.59),teacher-student communication score(8.17±0.85),and overall satisfaction score(8.90±0.86)were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The multi-level,multi-unit,and multi-round knee arthroscopy simulation teaching method can improve the independent operation ability, learning interest,teacher-student communication, and overall satisfaction of surgical residents, and is worthy of promotion and application.
