Analysis of the Incidence and Influencing Factors of Hypoglycemia in Hemodialysis Patients During Dialysis
Objectives This study aims to provide a reference for preventing the occurrence of hypoglycemia by analyzing the influencing factors of hypoglycemia in maintenance hemodialysis patients during dialysis. Methods The convenience sampling method was used to select 320 patients with regular hemodialysis from June 1,2022 to May 31,2023.The patients'basic information and medical history, biochemical test results, medication compliance scale,self-management ability scale, etc.were collected.Single-factor analysis and multi-factor regression analysis were performed on the data. Results Among 320 maintenance hemodialysis patients,130 were in the hypoglycemia group and 190 were in the non-hypoglycemia group during dialysis. The incidence of hypoglycemia was 40.62%.The results of the factor analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in patients'BMI,age, education level, duration of diabetes, medication compliance,self-management ability, and glycated hemoglobin(P<0.05).Multifactor analysis showed that age,BMI,duration of diabetes, educational level, medication compliance, and self-management ability were the main influencing factors for patients with hypoglycemia(P<0.05).Conclusions Maintenance hemodialysis patients are elderly, underweight, have a long duration of diabetes, and have a low educational level.Patients with poor self-care ability should develop relevant preventive measures and strengthen education to reduce the occurrence of hypoglycemia.
