Analysis on the Teaching Practice Effect of Online-offline Blended Teaching combined with 5E Teaching Mode in Clinical Basic Operation
Objectives This study aimed to investigate the effect of online-offline blended teaching combined with 5E teaching mode in clinical basic operation,so as to improving the quality of course teaching.Methods Taking undergraduate students taking basic clinical operation courses at the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University from March 4th,2021 to May 21st,2022 as the study object,students of the 2022 grade who adopted online and offline blended teaching combined with the 5E teaching mode as the observation group,and students of the 2021 grade who adopted the traditional teaching mode as the control group,the advantages and disadvantages of the two teaching modes were evaluated objectively through the comparison of the two groups of students in terms of their professional ability,comprehensive quality,and the satisfaction degree of the teaching modes they had participated in.Results In the part of theoretical achievement,the score of students in the control group was(40.21±4.33),and the score of students in the observation group was(42.50±4.20),and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.356,P<0.001);in the part of practical achievement,the score of students in the control group was(40.21±4.33),and the score of students in the observation group was(42.37±4.70)points,the difference was statistically significant(t=3.673,P<0.001);in the comprehensive quality,the average score of the control group students was(86.77±4.66)and the average score of the observation group students was(90.12±5.35).The difference was statistically significant(t=4.216,P<0.001);in terms of satisfaction with the teaching mode,students in the observation group were significantly more satisfied with their teaching mode than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.213,P<0.001).Conclusions The online-offline blended teaching combined with the 5E teaching mode in the teaching of clinical basic operation had a remarkable effect,which could effectively improve the comprehensive quality of students,stimulate learning interest,and was worth gradually promoting in the clinical basic operation and other similar courses.
