Investigation and Research on the Teaching Mode in Clinical Immunology Teaching
Objective To explore and study the effect of flipped classroom combined with CBL teaching method in clinical immunology teaching. Methods Students of the clinical medicine department of Capital Medical University from August 1st,2021 to November 1st,2022 as the teaching objects were selected as the teaching objects,of which 60 students of 20 1 8 were the control group, and the traditional lecture based(LBL)teaching method was adopted. The experimental group consisted of 61 students of 2019 grade, who were taught by flipped classroom combined with CBL teaching method.Investigate and compare the teaching satisfaction and teaching effect of the two groups of students,as well as the satisfaction of teachers. Results The theoretical scores of the students in the experimental group were 76.8±7.9 points, while the theoretical scores of the students in the control group were 72.8±9.3 points. The test scores in the experimental group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The students in the test group were more satisfied with the overall teaching of clinical immunology than those in the control group(68.8%vs 47.5%,P<0.05),and the students in the test group were more satisfied with the curriculum setting than those in the control group(63.9%vs 43.3%,P<0.05).The students in the experimental group believed that this new teaching mode can stimulate learning enthusiasm and interest, improve the ability of independent learning, and improve the ability to analyze and solve problems.Teachers were also satisfied with the new teaching methods. Conclusions The application of flipped classroom combined with CBL teaching method in clinical immunology teaching could enhance the course attraction, increase student's interest and participation, improve students'ability to understand and use knowledge, and ultimately improve the teaching quality.
