Analysis of Information System Operation and Maintenance Requirements of a General Hospital from 2020 to 2022
Objectives This study used a general hospital as an example to analyze the current status of information system operation and maintenance needs,so as to provide a reference for hospital information management work.Methods The information system operation and maintenance requirements of a certain hospital from January 1,2020 to December 31,2022 were collected,and descriptive analysis such as rate and composition ratio was conducted.Results In the past three years,the hospital recorded a total of 272 operation and maintenance needs from 51 departments,involving 31 information systems.The three-year operation and maintenance needs were 80,96,and 96 respectively,showing an overall increasing trend.The needs mainly centered on HIS(27.94%),electronic medical record(18.01%),and LIS(13.97%).The functional departments applied for the most,accounting for 43.01%.The required functional modules mainly involve template content(28.31%),system functions(13.60%),program rules(13.24%),and statistical reports(12.87%).76.84%of the operation and maintenance application modifications had no impact on existing business processes,and the actual completion rate of the needs was 87.5%.Conclusions The demand for and completion rate of hospital information system operation and maintenance is relatively high,mainly involving the optimization of templates,functions,rules and statistics of core business systems.
