Evaluation of the Effect of 3D Printing Technology Combined with CBL Teaching in Standardized Training of Pelvic Fracture Residents
Objectives This study aims to evaluate the effect of 3D printing technology combined with CBL teaching in standardized training of residents of pelvic fracture,so as to provide a reference for improving clinical teaching level. Methods A total of 80 residents who participated in the standardized training of residents in the trauma orthopedics department of a certain hospital from October 1,2021 to September 30,2022 were selected as the research subjects. All the subjects were randomly divided into two groups:40 cases in the control group and 40 cases in the control group. The observation group was taught with 3D printing technology combined with CBL teaching method, while the students in the control group were taught with CBL teaching method. There was no significant difference in age,sex and entrance examination scores between the two groups. After completing the training, all trainees underwent theoretical and practical assessments, and their satisfaction with the teaching teachers was evaluated. Results During the graduation assessment, the theoretical score(91.35±4.12),practical score(87.27±4.19),clinical thinking ability score(89.23±3.17),and satisfaction evaluation of the teaching teacher(87.5%)of the observation group students were higher than those of the control group students(71.15±4.37,76.32±5.15,75.27±4.13,and 75%satisfaction rate, respectively). There was a statistically significant difference in the data between the two groups. Conclusions 3D model combined with CBL teaching method can improve students'theoretical examination and practical operation scores and clinical thinking ability, stimulate students'interest in learning and improve teaching satisfaction. It has positive clinical teaching application value in the standardized training of trauma orthopaedic residents and is worth popularizing and applying.
