Application of TBL Based on CBL Teaching Mode in Clinical Teaching of Rehabilitation Therapy Interns
Objectives This study aims to explore the application effect of TBL based on CBL in the clinical teaching of rehabilitation therapy interns,in order to optimize the clinical teaching process of rehabilitation therapy and improve the teaching quality.Methods A total of 58 college students majoring in rehabilitation therapy who interned in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of a certain hospital from March 1,2023 to September 30,2023 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 29 students in each group.The observation group adopted CBL combined with TBL teaching method to carry out clinical teaching activities,while the control group adopted a conventional mode to carry out clinical teaching internship activities.The teaching effectiveness is evaluated by combining examinations and questionnaires,including the evaluation of post-teaching examination scores,satisfaction with teaching activities,and students'self-learning ability before and after teaching.Results The objective question scores of the observation group were(29.00±0.93)points,the subjective question scores were(17.62±1.24)points,the total score of basic theoretical knowledge was(46.66±1.68)points,the rehabilitation assessment score was(17.90±0.90)points,the rehabilitation treatment score was(27.52±1.81)points,and the total score of practical operation ability was(45.41±2.15)points,all of which were higher than those of the control group.Comparison of teamwork ability,independent learning ability,clinical learning interest,and problem-solving ability between the two groups of students showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups of students before teaching.After teaching,compared with the control group,the scores of the observation group were significantly improved,and there was a statistical difference.Comparing the satisfaction of the two groups of students with teaching activities,the observation group had a higher overall satisfaction than the control group.Conclusions The TBL teaching model based on CBL can improve students'theoretical and practical performance and learning ability in the clinical teaching of rehabilitation therapy interns,while also improving students'satisfaction.It is worthy of promotion in clinical internship teaching in rehabilitation therapy.
