Effect of Roy Adaptation Model on Patients After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Objectives This study aims to analyze the effect of Roy adaptation model on patients after percutaneous coronary intervention and its influence on their coping style to further improve the quality of life of patients. Methods A total of 92 patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention and were admitted to the Department of Cardiology of a certain hospital from July 1,2020 to July 31,2022 were selected by convenience sampling and divided into a control group of 46 patients who were given routine care and an observation group of 46 patients who were given Roy adaptive model care. The health beliefs, coping styles, cardiac function and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the Champiom Health Belief Scale score of the observation group was 118.23±23.82 points, which was higher than that of the control group(100.51±22.40 points,P<0.05).The scores of negative coping items in the JCS of the patients in the observation group were lower than those of the control group, while the scores of the active coping items were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).the NYHA cardiac function classification of the patients in the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The CQQC score of the observation group was 82.33±9.15 points, and the SAQ score was 82.11±8.03 points, which were higher than those of the control group(75.96±8.27 and 68.68±7.96 points respectively,P<0.05).Conclusions Roy adaptation model can achieve significant results in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention, which can not only enhance their health belief and change coping style, but also promote the improvement of patients'cardiac function and further improve their quality of life.
