Clinical abortion can be divided into spontaneous abortion and artificial abortion.According to different stages of development,spontaneous abortion is divided into 4 types:threatened abortion,inevitable abortion,incomplete abortion and complete abortion,as well as 3 special cases:missed abortion,recurrent abortion and abortion with infection.Inevitable abortion,incomplete abortion and complete abortion were coded in O03.O02.1 Missed abortion,if embryos form atrophied eggs are classified as O02.0.Threatened abortion,which is not necessarily the outcome of abortion,is classified as bleeding in early pregnancy O20.0.Habitual abortion can be classified in N96,habitual abortion with current types of abortion is coded in O03-O06 and pregnancy medical treatment for habitual abortion is coded inO26.2.Abortion with infection is classified in the subcategories.0 Incomplete,complicated by genital tract and pelvic infection;.5 Complete or unspecified,complicated by genital tract and pelvic infection and.8 Complete or unspecified,with other and unspecified complications in O03-O06.The induced abortion is mainly O04 medical abortion.In addition,some other cases of abortion,such as biochemical pregnancy is classified in O03,and continued pregnancy after abortion/intrauterine death of one or more fetuses is coded in O31.1/O31.2,paper fetus O31.0.When the complications mentioned above are obsolete,use O08.-Complications following abortion,ectopic and mole pregnancy to express obsolete complications.Combined with typical cases,the relevant abortion diagnosis was identified and analyzed,and the coding quality of abortion medical records was improved accurately.
