Characterization of Changes in Climate Resources in Xinyang and the Impact on the Yield of Xinyang Maojian Tea
The characteristics of climate resource changes in Xinyang was analyzed, and a correlation analysis between meteorological elements and tea yield was conducted to reveal the relationship between climate resource changes and tea yield.Using the data of temperature, precipitation, sunshine and soil moisture of Xinyang station from 1951-2022,trend analysis,Mann-Kendall mutation test and other methods were used to analyze the climate change patterns during the annual and spring tea growing season(February to April). It is found that the climate change in Xinyang was obvious. The 10-year average temperature and average temperature from February to April increased by 1.9 ℃ and 2.8 ℃ re-spectively.The annual precipitation, the number of days of precipitation, sunshine, and soil moisture showed a decreasing trend, but the extreme precipitation and the number of days of heavy rain increased. At the same time, there were four relatively stable low-temperature periods in the average daily temperature from February to April, which had a great impact on Maojian spring tea. With the change of global climate,Xinyang's climate resources also changed accordingly, which generally had a positive impact on Xinyang Maojian tea production.Four climate factors with significant cor-relation with tea yield, such as active cumulative temperature ≥10 ℃,soil moisture, precipitation and sunshine hours from February to April, were screened out by stepwise regression analysis. It is found that the yield of climatic resources was positively correlated with the active cumulative temperature and soil moisture during the growing period, and negatively correlated with precipitation and sunshine hours. The regression results passed the F0.05 test, with an average deviation of 3.1%and a maximum deviation of 7.4%,which effectively reveals the relationship between climate resource changes and Xinyang Maojian tea production.
