Methodological Study on Carbon Sequestration in Tea Plantations
As a source of carbon emissions, tea gardens have great potential for carbon sequestration.Under the background of"double carbon"goal, the primary goal is to use tea gardens ecosystem to play their carbon sink func-tion and promote the development of low-carbon tea production. However, the lack of carbon sink methodology sys-tem is the key problem that hinders the evaluation and verification of carbon sink in tea gardens.By referring to for-estry carbon sink projects assessment methods, this paper explored a carbon sink project methodology suitable for tea gardens from the aspects of carbon pool selection, identification of baseline scenarios, determination of baseline carbon sinks, carbon storage in project scenarios and applicable conditions, and mainly considered the changes of tea tree biomass(above ground+underground)and baseline soil organic carbon storage, without considering chang-es of litter and wood products carbon pool.It provided a theoretical reference for the establishment of carbon sink assessment method system in tea gardens.
