The ancient tea plant resources of Golden tea in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous prefecture have rich economic,cultural,ecological,and social value.The research on the legal protection of ancient tea plant resources is of great significance for improving local legislation and promoting the formulation of protection regulations.There are practical and legal difficulties in protecting the ancient tea plant resources of Golden tea.Based on sum-marizing the concept of ancient tea plant,the unique advantages of Golden tea and legal provisions,this paper put forward suggestions from three aspects:Expanding the protection path,improving the content of regulations and perfecting punishment provisions,in order to provide useful reference for the improvement of legal protection of an-cient tea plant resources of Golden tea.
