On August 10,2019,the first case of lumpy skin disease was confirmed in Yili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture,Xinjiang,Chi-na.After that,the epidemic has rapidly spread to many other provinces in China.Seriously affecting the quality of hides and milk pro-duction,causing significant economic losses to farmers.This paper reviews the research progress of the widely used diagnostic methods and prevention and control measures for bovine nodular skin diseases,mainly from the aspects of clinical comprehensive diagnosis,lab-oratory diagnosis,prevention and control difficulties and prevention and control suggestions.
