Germplasm Resources of Shanghang Huai Pigs Progress in Conservation and Utilization Research
Shanghang County has actively carried out the protection and utilization of huai pig,a precious local breed resource,and has achieved certain results.This paper mainly expounds the progress of the breed source and the protection and utilization of genet-ic resources,summarizes the achievements of breed germplasm research,and puts forward suggestions on breed protection and uti-lization,aiming to provide reference for the protection and utilization of genetic resources of Shanghang huai pigs.
