摘要
玛多羊属藏系绵羊,是地处黄河源头的青海果洛藏族自治州玛多县特有的优良遗传资源.玛多羊适应平均海拔4500 m的高寒极端环境,是经长期自然选择和人工选育形成的优良遗传资源.玛多羊遗传多样性丰富,遗传性能稳定,抗逆性能和种用性能突出.该文通过对玛多羊的生长环境、选育历史、生产性能、体型外貌等方面进行整理和分析,总结了玛多羊种质资源特性挖掘及保护利用的最新进展,以期为玛多羊发展成为玛多县乃至青海省的优势地方特色品种提供参考.
Abstract
Maduo sheep is an excellent genetic resource formed by long-term natural selection and artificial breeding to adapt to the alpine extreme environment with an average altitude of 4500 m.Maduo sheep have rich genetic diversity,stable genetic performance,outstanding stress resistance,and breeding performance.In this paper,the growth environment,breeding history,production performance,body appearance,and other aspects of Maduo sheep were sorted out and analyzed,and the latest progress in the excavation,protection,and utilization of Maduo sheep germplasm resources was summarized,to develop Maduo sheep into a dominant local characteristic variety of Maduo County and even Qinghai Province.
