Development Status and Trend Analysis of Sichuan-Chongqing Mutton Sheep Seed Industry
Mutton sheep industry is the key industry of animal husbandry development,and also one of the important areas of eco-nomic development in Sichuan and Chongqing region.In recent years,with the upgrading and transformation of residents'con-sumption structure and the change of the national economic environment affected by the epidemic,the market demand for mutton has fluctuated greatly,and the development of meat sheep seed industry in Sichuan-Chongqing region is facing great challenges.In order to understand the development of meat sheep seed industry in Sichuan and Chongqing area,this paper comprehensively ana-lyzed the current stock of meat sheep,the annual production of embryos,and so on,combined with the statistics data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in recent years.In view of the shortage of high-quality germplasm resources,the lack of innovation ability of seed industry and the imperfect development of industrial chain,the improvement measures were put forward to provide reference for the high-quality development of meat sheep seed industry and industry in Sichuan and Chongqing area in the future.
