In order to understand the veterinary drug residues in livestock and poultry meat and eggs in Tongren city in 2023,the col-loidal gold immunochromatographic test strip method was used to detect the collected samples rapidly.The detected positive sam-ples and suspected samples near the detection limit of the process were verified by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrome-try.The results showed that the detection rate of ractopamine in livestock meat was 1.67%,the detection rate of dacarbazine in poultry meat was 2.00%,and the detection rates of sulfonamides,florfenicol,and thiamphenicol in eggs were 2.56%,1.16%,and 1.16%,respectively.In the verification test,the results of the colloidal gold method and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spec-trometry were basically the same.Therefore,the colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay is fast,convenient,low cost,high accurate,and can be used for rapid screening and detection of veterinary drug residues in livestock and poultry meat and eggs.
