Course Construction and Practice of Farm Animal Breeding Course under the Background of Revitalization of Breeding Industry
The revitalization of the breeding industry and the connotative development of higher education put forward the new re-quirements for the teaching of farm animal breeding.The course construction and the teaching reform are urgent.Farm animal breeding is the core professional foundation course for animal science major,which is crucial to the revitalization of farm animal breeding industry.Based on the analysis of the current teaching situation and new demands of farm animal breeding course,The Animal Breeding teaching team of Southwest University carried out reforms in the field of education goals,design concepts,teach-ing content and modes,and educational methods.Good practical results have been achieved,supporting the construction of profes-sional disciplines and providing one reference experience for the students of farm animal breeding professionals to meet the national strategy of revitalization of breeding industry.
