Comparative Analysis of Blood Physiological,Biochemical,Immune, and Antioxidant Indicators in Baning Pigs in Different Growth Stages
In this experiment,42 healthy half-sib-banning pigs with a birth weight of about 1 kg were used as the research objects. They were divided into 7 growth stages according to the age of 0,2,4,6,8,10,and 12 months. The contents of 13 blood physiolog-ical indicators,16 serum biochemical indicators,5 hormone indicators,9 immune factor indicators, and 5 antioxidant indicators were detected and analyzed respectively. The results showed that among blood physiological indicators, the average red cell volume and hemoglobin content at 4,6,and 8 months were significantly lower than those at other months(P<0.05).Among serum bio-chemical indicators, the contents of albumin, total cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein, alanine aminotrans-ferase,and glucose were the highest at 2-month-old,and the total protein content was the highest at 6-month-old.Total protein,al-bumin,alkaline phosphatase, blood urea nitrogen, glucose, triglycerides, and alanine aminotransferase were all associated with age;there was a very significant correlation between total protein and albumin, globulin, blood urea nitrogen, and glucose(P<0.01).To-tal cholesterol was significantly correlated with high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein, and alanine aminotransferase(P<0.01).Among hormone indicators, the contents of cortisol, insulin, and thyroxine were highest at 4,6,and 8-month-old respec-tively.Among the immune factor indicators,interleukin-2 at 4-month-old was significantly higher than at 6-month-old,IgA at 2-month-old was significantly higher than that at 0-month-old,and IgG at 12-month-old was significantly higher than that at 8-month-old(P<0.05).Among the antioxidant factor indicators, the superoxide dismutase at 12 months old was significantly higher than that at 8 months old(P<0.05).It can be seen that there is a general correlation between blood biochemical indicators and the age of Banning pigs.Banning pigs are at the peak of hematopoietic function and muscle development at 6 and 8-month-old,respec-tively.Corresponding nutritional management and feeding strategies should be formulated.Different growth stages have a greater impact on the content of blood physiological, biochemical, and hormone indicators, and have a lesser impact on the content of im-mune factor indicators and antioxidant factor indicators.
