Effects of High Temperature Season on Production Performance of Laying Hens
In order to study the effect of high temperature season on the production performance of commercial laying hens in cas-cade feeding mode, the data of temperature and humidity, drinking water, feed and egg production of 150 000'Jingfen 6'laying hens in three batches were statistically analyzed. The results showed that the death rate of each batch in June was significantly high-er than that in May(P<0.01).The average daily feed intake of the three batches of laying hens in June was significantly lower than that in May(P<0.01).The water-to-feed ratio of batch 1 in June was significantly higher than that in May(P<0.01).The egg pro-duction rate of batch 1 in June was significantly lower than that in May(P<0.01),and the egg production rate of batch 2 and 3 in June was significantly lower than that in May(P<0.05).It can be seen that under the laminated breeding mode, the laying hens have typical chronic heat stress phenomenon in the high temperature season, and the production performance has obvious negative changes.
